LOS Baños, Laguna, down south of the metro, you’ll find a classic looking restaurant along the Lopez Avenue near University of the Philippines, Los Banos or also known as ELBI.
The interior gives you that Spanish taste with the wooden floorings and windows made in capiz.
Outside, you’ll find an open area for fresh air and it gives you that rural vibe
This is where they grow their ingridients with all organic fertilizers.
I had a great impression of the place and my expectation was surpassed when the food arrived!
1. Herb Republic Salad – since the ingridients are home growned and organically produced, you can taste the sweetness of each item. The tomatoes and cucumber are juicy. The salad also has grass, mint, and mushrooms which perfectly matches with the garlic sauce.
2. Seafood marinara – the pasta is good for 2. I like the fact that the sauce is tasty enough that it does not need to be overflowing. I was able to taste real tomato in the marinara. Another plus factor for this resto.
3. Hot tarragon and lemon grass tea – This was my favorite on their menu so far! For only 65php per pot, you’ll experience the calming effect of the tea. It has some kind of magic and suits best with our cake from Mernel’s.
I’ll rate the restaurant 4.7/5. You can catch more of their menu below. I’ll definitely return to this place to get a taste of the native chicken and other menu.
